In my previous time as a motoring writer, I reviewed the majority of the Isuzu D-Max models, including the limited-edition D-Max Fury and the beasty D-Max AT35, which was beefed up by Arctic Trucks - an off-road truck builder based in Reykjavik, Iceland (and now with bases across the world).

Isuzu apparently continues to improve with each new model - listening to customer feedback and building on a reliability reputation built over decades. They're also looking forward too, with an electric D-Max soon to hit the UK market.

I'm happy to report that Isuzu have kindly offered to send me their latest top of the range D-Max V-Cross (with auto transmission) for test and review on the Car Buyer Help YouTube channel, so I recommend subscribing to it and turning on notifications so you get notified the second the review lands, and also following the Car Buyer Help social media channels (listed at the bottom of our main page).
It's fair to say Isuzu have moved with the times and improved cabin features and comforts as well as safety tech, as it now includes leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat. The 9” touchscreen infotainment system, 8-speaker sound system, and 7” digital driver’s display, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The main thing is though, how is it in the real-world for seat and cabin comfort, and how does it ride, drive, change gear etc? We'll find out in July!
