Skywell are new to the UK car market, but have been established in China since 2020. Owned by the Skyworth group - who have around a £7 billion turnover and well over 30,000 employees worldwide. With the Skywell BE11 electric car the first in a range of electric and plug-in-hybrid cars heading for the UK, I had five days with the BE11 to see what I made of it.
Note: Skywell PR informed me that they currently have an introductory offer on the BE11 until September 2025, which makes the price far, far more competitive and enticing. It includes:
£6,000 towards the deposit
Free home charger with installation (with 5 or 10 metre cable), which is worth approx. £1,000
£3,000 towards public charging (approx. 15,000 miles of driving).
Watch my in-depth test of the Skywell BE11, which covers all aspects of the exterior, interior, and driving of the car, below.
Enjoy, and don't forget to subscribe to the CarBuyerHelp YouTube channel as we have more new car test on the way!
